BOB'S OBITUARY

Robert W. Rice, Sr., longtime resident of Deer Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the age of 83. He was born March 12, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Roscoe W. and Alberta F. (Brandt) Rice. 

Beloved father of Robert W., Jr. (Michelle), Kenneth (Mabel), Timothy (Jennifer), Stephen, and the late Gregory Rice; brother of Joyce (Bob) Bartlett and Judy Mahne; grandfather of Robert III, Dennis, David, Nicole, Maria, Ellie, Lillian, Lauren, Katie, Erin, Zachary (Laura), Savannah, Dakota, Madison, Blake, and the late Isabella; great grandfather of Hope, Lucas, Aeralynn, Wyatt, Grayson, Charlotte, Troy Jacob, and one on the way.

Bob was a true outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was a conservationist who was passionate about protecting our river. He enjoyed watching football and played while attending Deer Park High School. Bob also enjoyed visiting the horse races, relaxing at Coney Island’s Sunlight Pool with his friends, and traveling to the James Dean Festival in Indiana. 

Visitation will begin at 10 AM until the time of Mass at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 7121 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Private interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery. Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home in Evendale is assisting with Bob’s arrangements.
