I met my husband, Russ, bowling on a Friday night with Judy Bartesko, Judy Kranich and Patsy Schafer. We were married in 1965, and I moved to Michigan. Russ got transferred and we moved to Minnesota in 1984. At that point, our twin daughters, Sharon and Karen, entered their freshman year at the University of Michigan. I cried all the way to Minnesota leaving them there until Thanksgiving. I was in the travel industry for 25 years; Executive Assistant to CEO. Loved the work and of course the fringe benefits! This position gave us the opportunity to travel some. We love the Mexican Riviera Maya, the shows in Las Vegas, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and most recently a trip to Aruba. We are retired now and spending the winters (Jan.-April) in Florida. Love to golf, do cross-stitching, spend time with grandchildren and of course shop.

GAA was such fun. I learned to bowl and still enjoy it. The overnights we had at the end of the year were always great. I belonged to the Pep Club and really enjoyed all the football and basketball games. The "sock hops" after the home games were always a good time.
