Melbourne John T. Greeley, 72, entered into eternal life on Monday, May 19th, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. Born in Cincinnati, OH on July 31, 1941 he was the child of the late John and Virginia Drake- Greeley. John worked as a claims adjuster in the medical industry for most of his career. He relocated to Brevard County in 1985 coming from Cincinnati, where enjoyed the warmer climate and appreciated living the “Florida Lifestyle”. John will be remembered as a caring and intelligent man that deeply cherished his family. Survivors include his wife, Cinda; children, John Patrick Greeley, Douglas Stephens Greeley and Melinda Martin; sister, Barbara Gilmore; 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 1 niece and 1 nephew. He was predeceased by his beloved granddaughter, Karma “Spike” in 2009. Per John’s wishes, no services will be conducted.

Miscellaneous trivia: John and I on the football team our Jr year. We got to talking about college and he showed me the catalogs for 3-4 schools, to include the Naval Academy and West Point. I likely would not have known about the possibility had it not been for John. My plan at that point was to join the Army (or Navy), then go to college on the GI Bill.
