Marilyn's Obituary

Marilyn J. Smith (nee Kaupp) Beloved wife of the late Robert Smith for 43 years. Devoted sister of the late Elaine (Sam) Goins. Loving aunt of Robin (Maggie) Goins of New Jersey, Carol (Peter) Uller of Michigan, and great aunt of Zachary Goins, and Cody and Inara Uller. Also survived by many dear friends in the Order of the Eastern Star. Marilyn was retired from the Merrell Dow Chemical Company. She served as Worthy Matron of Pleasant Ridge Chapter No. 378 OES and Worthy Matron of Roselawn Chapter No. 588 OES. She served the State of Ohio Grand Chapter as the Grand Representative to Idaho in 1985 and as the President of the Association of Chapters in 1991. Marilyn passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28, 2024. Age 83 years. Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy on Saturday, November 9 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. Dorcas Chapter No. 277, OES will hold services at 10:45 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Blue Ash. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Christian Village at Mt. Healthy, 8097 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
